Download NGOHQ 7800 GT Voltage BIOS Softmod

NGOHQ’s ‘Regeneration’ took a closer look at the BIOS of a GeForce 7800 GT and discovered how it can further overclock the video card without too much effort. In the BIOS, he has increased the standard voltage by 0.1V so that the GPU of his video card runs at a speed of 535MHz and becomes 55°C degrees, while without the softmod it was 500MHz and 51°C. Regeneration modified the BIOS softmod to be applied to any GeForce 7800 GT video card. The tweaked BIOS is flashed using nvFlash.exe (nVidia’s flash utility) and the modified universal BIOS for the 7800 GT. For convenience, he has this zip file online with all the necessary files, so that it is possible to flash the BIOS of the video card in a DOS environment. Before you start flashing the BIOS, he does recommend that you uninstall the ForceWare drivers from the system and make a backup of the current video card BIOS:
