Download FreeFileSync 11.17
Version 11.17 of FreeFileSync has been released. This open source program can be used to back up or synchronize content from two different locations. It’s available for Windows, Linux, and macOS, doesn’t rely on things like Java or a .Net Framework, and it’s lightweight to use. The Windows download includes separate 32bit and 64bit versions, and also offers the option to use it without installing it first. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:
Changes in FreeFileSync version 11.17:
- Show per-file progress in percent when copying large files
- Log app initialization errors
- Fixed uncaught exception after installation
- Defer testing for third-party buggy DLLs until after crashing
- Consider ReFS 128-bit file ID failure states (Windows)
- Refer to volume by name: support names including brackets
- Support local installation with non-standard home (Linux)
