Chocolatey is an open source package manager, which can be used to install, update and remove software on the computer via the command line or PowerShell. On the website of Chocolatey there are a small 9000 packages maintained by the community. Chocolatey is free to use, but there are also paid performances, which are intended, among other things, for companies. On the occasion of the eleventh birthday Chocolatey has released version 1.0.0 and its release notes mention the following changes and improvements:

Breaking Changes
