Google Chrome test version can display two pages side by side in PDFs
The Canary version of Chrome has been given the option to display two pages side by side in PDFs. Various desktop PDF readers have been able to do this for some time, but the browser does not support it yet.

The feature is called Two-up View, Techdows reports. It is an option that can be enabled via the flags function, by clicking this link in Chrome. Then users have to set Chrome to open the PDF files and not download them, after which the browser gets a button to show PDFs with two pages side by side.
Techdows notes that the classic version of Edge, not the new one based on Google’s Chromium project, already supported the feature with the F8 shortcut. It is unknown if the search giant will also assign a shortcut to the feature upon release. Acrobat Reader DC for desktops also supports displaying two PDF pages side by side.
Features that are in the Canary version often come at a later time in the stable version of the browser. Google hasn’t released anything yet about whether that will happen and if so, when it will be. The feature is in Canary 82.0.4084.0 or later. The stable version is now at version 80.
