512GB version Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra has been postponed until May in the Benelux
Samsung cannot deliver the Galaxy S20 Ultra with 16GB lpddr5 and 512GB flash storage on March 13. The most expensive version of the device is expected to be available around May 20. According to Samsung, the delay is due to a delay in delivery.
Samsung notified customers who had ordered the most expensive version of the S20 Ultra by phone or email. The email states that the 512GB version of the device will only be available in the Benelux in May because of a delivery delay.
Samsung announced the Galaxy S20 series last month and then said that all versions would be on sale from March 13. As far as we know, the other versions of the S20 will be released according to schedule. The S20 Ultra is also available in a version with 12GB of RAM and 128GB of flash storage. For the most expensive model, Samsung uses other memory chips, which have only recently gone into mass production. It is not known whether the delay has anything to do with this.
Buyers can keep their order and then have to wait. Samsung also offers customers the option to cancel the order and opt for the S20 Ultra 128GB instead. Samsung then gives customers a free LED View Cover. Customers can also cancel the order in its entirety.
