Over time, various networks and applications have been developed for exchanging files. Ares uses its own decentralized network and recently also BitTorrent. The program includes a tabbed web browser, an audio and video player with support for playlists, online radio stations and the ability to host chat rooms. Version 2.0.5 is now available with the following changes:

Version 2.0.5:

• Minor updates in ChatClient (added ‘block emotes’ checkbox and fixed a redirect GUI issue)
• Chat Server updated

Version 2.0.4:

• Updates in chat room core (server side)
• Added chat client user commands (logout,reconnect)
• Added Dansk.txt translation file

Version 2.0.3:

• Fixed system menu on skinned frame windows
• PM’s tab is again child of channel’s tab
• Fixed chatroom server’s antiflood filter (public msgs and emotes)
• From now on chat server’s code is available as a separate release
