Download Xfce 4.4

After more than two years of development, the developers have just pulled back the curtain on version 4.4 of Xfce and unveiled this new version to the general public. Xfce is a lightweight desktop environment for Unix-like operating systems and focuses on speed without compromising on visuals or usability. Among the many changes we find support for icons on the desktop, there is a new file manager called Thunar, and several improvements have been made to the Window Manager Xfwm4.
