Download Firmware AVM Fritz!Box FON 7050 14.04.26

The people at AVM have released new firmware for their Fritz!Box FON 7050 router, which includes two fixes for configuring WEP and WPA security. The firmware has version number 14.04.26 and can be downloaded via this page be downloaded for the a and b variants of the Fritz!Box 7050. According to this writing on Matthias Wenzel’s weblog, however, there is still a crash bug in the firmware when a special udp package is sent to the router. Whether this bug has been removed in the new 14.04.26 firmware is unknown. The changelog does not show any mention of this bug, so there is a small chance that the bug has been kept quiet in all secrecy. The changelog currently looks like this:
