Showshock Softnology has released a new beta build of Central Brain Identifier version 8.2 for the second time in a week. This program is designed to identify the exact model and type of processor of an Amd equipped computer. CBId recognizes a wide variety of models and displays detailed information such as core name, revision and voltage, frequency, rating, cache size, and PowerNow technology used. In addition, it is also able to perform some tweaks regarding, for example, the L1 cache, the Clock Control Register, the memory timings and there is also the possibility to adjust the HyperTransport clock frequency. This release again adds the necessary items to the list of recognized hardware:

Central Brain Identifier 8.20 R10 has been released! Currently, the new version fully identifies an AMD Athlon 64 FX processor family with model numbers of 70, 72 and 74 for the Socket Fr3 based systems. Also, we have added recognition of a desktop series of AMD Athlon 64, AMD Athlon 64 X2 и AMD Sempron processors in S1g1 package. Additionally, there is the full identification of the AMD64 processors with the following OPNs related to the Revision F2: ADA3500IAA4CW, SDA3400IAA3CW and SDA3200IAA2CW. ITE IT8718F I/O chip has been supported.[break]
