Download WinRAR 3.62

RAR Labs has just released version 3.62 of its popular archiving program WinRAR. The program can handle most common archiving formats, including rar, zip, cab, arj, lzh, tar, gz, ace, uue, bz2, jar, iso, 7z and z, has a skinnable interface, support for Zip64 (extract only ) and multi-volume CAB files. Normally there are also versions for DOS, FreeBSD, Linux, Mac OS X, OS/2 and PocketPC 2002, but this time only the Windows version has been updated. Version 3.62 fixes the following two bugs:

Bug fixed:

• stack overflow vulnerability has been corrected in WinRAR module processing 7-Zip archives;
• WinRAR GZip module could set a wrong file date when unpacking GZip archives.
