Today Media Player Classic received an upgrade to version 6.4.6.8. As the name suggests, the program builds on the look and feel of Windows Media Player 6 and below. The new version is available for Windows 2k/XP and Windows 98/Me† Unfortunately, no release notes are available, but according to Smultie, the program can now play media files automatically.
