Download XPlode 1.0.6
Xplode is a handy program that allows you to run other programs during the installation of Windows 2000, XP, and 2003. You can also create users and groups, modify the registry and place shortcuts during the installation of Windows. Xplode uses an XML script that allows you to specify which options are allowed to be active. Version 1.0.6 has recently been released and follows the previous version at breakneck speed. The changelog looks like this:
Changes since 1.0.5:
- Added commandline option to try and figure out where XPlode dies when using SP2
No need to upgrade unless testing – all functionality is exactly the same as 1.0.5. To test out, add this to the commandline: /testrun : on This is non-dependent on XML, I’m just testing to see if it will load plugins.
Changes since 1.0.4:
- Moved the XML to unicode for localization support.
- Rewrite the XML parser
- Changed file access method
- Cleaned up redundant code
