Piriform released a new beta version of the Defraggler defragmenter on Monday. Of course we know Piriform from the popular cleaning tool Crap Cleaner and Recuva, with which deleted files can be recovered. Defraggler can not only defragment a hard drive, but also individual files, which saves a lot of time. The software is suitable for Windows 2000 and higher, in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. The changelog for this release shows the following changes:

Changes in version 1.01.064:

  • Added df.exe command line version
  • Added option to change process priority
  • Fixed issue with files in the MFT buffer zone
  • Fixed bug that left files in the list after they were defragged
  • Minor bug fixes
