Huawei will announce Mate 40 smartphone on October 22
Huawei has announced that it will announce its new smartphones in the Mate 40 series on October 22. The Chinese company will then hold its own event, where information such as the release date and price will likely be shared.
The Mate 40 series announcement came with a message on Twitter. The virtual event will take place on October 22 at 2:00 PM. Furthermore, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has not disclosed any details, so data, such as the date on which the device is actually available and the price, are not yet known. It seems that several smartphones are being announced: Huawei is talking about the Mate 40 series.
Huawei had already indicated that it would release the Mate 40 smartphones this year. The company also confirmed that the devices will still be equipped with a Kirin-soc, which is designed by Huawei itself and made by TSMC. However, due to the US sanctions, TSMC no longer supplies Huawei, making the Mate 40 probably the last to be released with such a soc.
