WinSnap is a program for the Windows 2000/XP platform that allows you to take and edit screenshots. Of course you can also use the PrintScreen button in combination with Microsoft Paint, but then you miss quite a few functionalities according to the developers of WinSnap. For example, their program supports rounded corners that are frequently used in various XP graphic themes, changing backgrounds and adding shadow effects. Version 1.1.8 has recently become available, which can now also be used ‘portable’. The list of changes looks like this:
