Razer has released new versions of its BlackWidow keyboard. The BlackWidow V3 and BlackWidow V3 Tenkeyless have improved switches and brighter RGB LEDs, according to the manufacturer. Razer previously introduced a wireless variant of the BlackWidow V3. The BlackWidow V3 and BlackWidow V3 Tenkeyless both come with Razer’s green tactile or yellow linear switches. The company states that these switches have been improved over the ones in the BlackWidow V2. This would make the switches more stable. The linear variants also receive silencers from the factory. The RGB LEDs in the BlackWidow V3 would also be brighter than before. Furthermore, the keyboard has doubleshot keycaps made of abs plastic. The V3 keyboard comes with a palm rest as standard and is equipped with a kind of scroll wheel with which, for example, the volume or the screen brightness can be adjusted. In the Tenkeyless version, the scroll wheel and the wrist rest are missing. The company reports that the regular V3 costs 150 euros and will be available in pink and black variants. The Tenkeyless version has a suggested retail price of 110 euros and is only available in black, but Razer released a BlackWidow V3 Pro in September. That keyboard shows many similarities with these ‘regular’ V3 variants, but also works wirelessly. This Pro variant also has separate media keys. That version costs 250 euros.
