Just over fourteen days after the initial release of iTunes 7, Apple’s developers have an update set up which will upgrade iTunes to version 7.01. According to the release notes, the initial 7 release contained a number of stability and performance issues, which have been ironed out with the release of the 7.01 update, as well as improvements to CD importing and song syncing with the ipod. iTunes allows you not only to manage your music collection, but also to buy songs (single songs and albums) through the online music store. It is also possible to purchase episodes of TV series and films. If you own an iPod, you can also put songs on the iPod. The QuickTime media player comes standard with iTunes.
