Download DVD Region+CSS Free & DVDIdle 5.9.8.3

Fengtao Software yesterday updated its DVD Region+CSS Free Lite, DVD Region+CSS Free, DVDIdle and DVDIdle Pro programs to version 5.9.8.3. Depending on which program is chosen, DVDs can be viewed and copied region-free, even if they are protected against copying. Furthermore, the drive is spared by caching files, which in turn has a beneficial effect on the life of the DVD drive. on this page provides a good overview of the differences between these four programmes. Changes in version 5.9.8.3:

• Fix: A problem when removing protection from some Sony ARccOS protected DVDs.

Changes in version 5.9.8.2:

• New: Added support for a new Sony ARccOS protection as found on “Ultraviolet” (R2, Greek) and “When a Stranger Calls” (R2, Greek).
• Fix: Several minor problems.

Changes in version 5.9.8.1:

• New: Added support for a new Sony ARccOS protection as found on “Odyssey 5” (R2).
• New: Improved CSS decryption for new Sony ARccOS protection as found on “Ultraviolet” (US) and “The Matador” (US).
• Fix: Missing Audio/Subpicture when copying some Sony ARccOS protected DVDs.

Changes in version 5.9.7.9:

• New: Added support for a new Sony ARccOS protection as found on “Freedomland” (US) and “Underworld: Evolution” (US).

Changes in version 5.9.7.6:

• Fix: “Enable DMA” window will be shown when DMA is already enabled, in certain cases.
