Download Lansweeper 3.2

You can use Lansweeper to map Windows machines in the network. This program installs itself on a server with IIS and is able to inventory the available software and hardware, without having to install a client program on each computer. All information can then be consulted via a web interface such as on this demo page to try out. Lansweeper comes in a freeware and paid form, which is on this page be put against each other. The developer has released version 3.2 and includes the following list of changes:

• BUG fixed: computers with multiple ip addresses are now scanned correctly.

• Lansweeper Report Builder (premium only)
  With this tool you will be able to create your own reports with an intuitive graphical query builder.
• Active Scanning (premium only)
  With this new feature you don’t need lsclient anymore, you only need an active directory forest. The service checks all your domaincontrollers for newly logged on machines and scans them with the same time interval as before. (you can still use lsclient if you want)
• Active directory computer information (premium only)
  The scanning process will now also scan computer information available in active directory. (OU, Operating system, company, location, …)
