Download UseBB 0.5.1a

UseBB is an open source forum package for a website with a small to medium-sized group of visitors. The program is developed in PHP and MySQL and is therefore platform independent. Version 0.5.1a has been available for several days and fixes three security vulnerabilities found in version 0.5.1. Two security vulnerabilities were found by the Hardened PHP Project that advisory have released. The release notes look like this:

This release addresses three security issues discovered since the release of UseBB 0.5.1. Two affect XSS vulnerabilities in IE and one SQL injection issue with search.php. Please upgrade your UseBB board as quickly as possible.

• Fixed security issue with URL matching (XSS vulnerability in IE).
• Fixed security issue with color BBCode (XSS vulnerability in IE).
• Fixed security issue with accessing $_REQUEST.
