Google will make polls and Q & As available in Meet on G Suite next week

Google is adding polls and question-and-answer sessions to Meet starting next week. The video calling service does not currently have a feature that allows moderators to conduct surveys, but it will now be available to select G Suite customers, and will be available to G Suite users starting next Thursday, Google writes in a blog post. The first innovation is a Q&A function. This allows participants in a conversation to ask specific questions that the hosts can answer. Those questions can be voted up by other users. The questions can be arranged in different ways, for example by having the most relevant questions or the questions with the most votes at the top. At the end of a session, hosts will receive an email with an export of all the questions asked, along with the option to set up polls. Hosts can ask multiple questions with the results only for them to see. An email with all data will also be available afterwards, and features will only be available to G Suite Essentials, G Suite Business, G Suite Enterprise, G Suite Enterprise for Education customers. Users with a G Suite Basic, G Suite for Education, or G Suite for Nonprofits license cannot use it.
