Download DVDFab 8.1.9.6

Version 8.1.9.6 of DVDFab has been released. DVDFab consists of several parts that can be used to rip, copy and convert movies from a DVD or Blu-ray into a format that can be played on a portable device such as the PSP or iPod, for example. The program can make a complete copy, but it is also possible to choose individual parts, for example only the main movie, with a limited number of languages ​​and subtitles.

The different parts of the program each have a own license† Those who do not need the Blu-ray functionality or who do not own a portable player do not have to pay for this functionality. Only the part to rip a disc, which can remove protection and region code at the same time, is still free. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

DVDFab 8.1.9.6 Qt Updated!

• Improved the recommended blu-ray burning speed when using high speed BD-R for VSO burning engine.

Blu-ray Copy:

• New: Added support for PowerDVD 12 to play the Blu-ray 3D backup.

• Fix: A crash problem when opening Blu-ray discs in certain cases.
• Fix: A stutter problem when playing Blu-ray 3D backup on standalone player in certain cases.
• Fix: A freeze problem when copying Blu-ray 3D disc to BD25 with “Remove HD audio” option enabled.
• Fix: An oversize problem when copying Blu-ray 3D disc in certain cases.
• Fix: The menu of Blu-ray 3D backup is not shown on standalone player in certain cases.
