Xfire has released version 1.85 of its chat program of the same name. Xfire is mainly intended for the avid gamers. It is possible to chat in text and speech both inside and outside games. Statistics are also kept of the performance in different games, you can see which games the people on your contact list are currently playing and game patches and demos can be downloaded via your own p2p network. Currently, just over a thousand games are supported, of which 175 are the so-called ‘one click join‘ and over 500 ‘in game chat‘ support.
