Download Geekbench 2.0.7

The developers of Primate Labs have released an update for Geekbench with 2.0.7 as the version number. This program is a cross platform benchmarker that subjects the working memory and the processor(s) to various tests. The program then calculates the benchmark score and the result obtained in the online Result Browser are set and it is then possible to compare these with other user systems. The announcements since the previous entry in the Meuktracker look like this:

Version 2.0.7:
Geekbench 2.0.7 adds support for Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) and adds 64-bit benchmarks for Mac OS X (provided, of course, you’re running Leopard). Geekbench 2.0.7 also fixes a number of issues under Linux.

version 2.0.6:
Geekbench 2.0.6 is out! There’s nothing incredibly exciting in this release, just the usual system information changes to support the latest Apple hardware (in this case the new iMacs and the new Mac minis).

Version 2.0.5:
Geekbench 2.0.5 is out and available for download. No new features in this release, just a few bug fixes.[break]
