Download ChrisTV 5.10

Today version 5.10 of ChrisTV was released. With this program a computer, if equipped with a TV card, can be transformed into a personal video recorder. ChrisTV includes advanced recording functions, a scheduler and extensive setting options. The software can handle all TV cards that use WDM drivers, including the FM tuner functions. Downloads are available in Lite (free), Standard, and Professional flavors. The differences in options and price can be this page can be found in a clear table. New in this release is the possibility to specify the length of the recording, the sleep timer has been improved and the program starts up slightly faster. Changes in version 5.10:

• We have added a new major feature to the recording module:
  Set Recording Length (shortcut key ALT-C)
  This feature is very useful when you manually start a recording and you can not stay near your computer until your favorite show ends, so just set the desired recording duration and ChrisTV PVR will take care of your recording. You can also use the adjust recording duration feature for scheduled task that already run. Please note that this feature is not supported for background recording mode.
• ChrisTV Sleep Timer feature has been improved, now you can configure the sleep timer to:
  • Close ChrisTV
  • Shutdown the Computer
  • Activate Standby Mode
  • Activate Hibernate Mode.
• Added the option to activate the TimeShift mode on ChrisTV PVR start.
• Added support for TitanTV – TV Listings. You will be able to add scheduled recordings directly from TitanTV website, for more details about the configuration steps, please read this page.
• Improved Zoom feature and fixed zoom settings load issue that appeared in some cases.
• Fixed background recording initialization problems that appear on some TV cards with MPEG Hardware Encoder.
• ChrisTV PVR launch time has been optimized.
• Improved the recording filename validation for tasks added from TV-Browser and TVgenial.
• Confirmation balloon hint will be displayed after a recording scheduled task from TV-Browser, TitanTV or TVgenial has been successfully added.
• Minor improvements and optimization in the scheduler module.
• Other minor fixes and improvements.
