Download 7zX 1.4

The compression format 7z is increasingly used for compressing files. The 7zX program, as the name suggests, is written specifically for Mac OS X and offers full support for the 7z format. At the moment the program does not have a graphical interface but works on the basis of drag & drop for compressing files. The developer has released version 1.4 with the following changes:

Version 1.4:

• Support for password protected archives.
• Archive integrity verification.
• New Automator workflows.
• Various optimisations.

Version 1.3.4:

• The compression core has been updated to version 4.39.
