Nintendo announced the release of Ori and the Will of the Wisps during its Direct Nintendo Partner Showcase September 2020. Owners of the Nintendo Switch can purchase the game from Thursday for 30 euros. The game has a size of 4.44GB.
In a teaser, Moon Studios shows part of the game’s Desert Escape level on Nintendo Switch. The gameplay runs smoothly at 60fps. With the version for the Xbox One X, which runs at 60fps in 4k, players complained about frame drops after release, although these seem to be over by now. The game was released for Windows and Xbox consoles in March. There is a version for the Series X on the way that plays in 4k resolution with 120fps and hdr and with better audio. By the way, predecessor Ori and the Blind Forest also appeared for the Switch in 2019.
