Alpine has announced an in-car audio and video receiver that features an 11″ screen. Users can adjust the position with a bracket. The head unit works in conjunction with Apple Carplay and Android Auto.

The iLX-F411 in Alpine’s Halo series comes in a 1-din housing and has the same features as the iLX-F259, only in an 11″ format instead of a 9″ version. The touchscreen has a resolution of 800×480, just like the 9″ dash units. The manufacturer speaks of a ‘floating’ screen and thanks to the bracket, users can choose from four corner, five height and two depth positions.

The user interface is customizable and includes three home screens with a choice of 22 available widgets. External devices can be connected via USB, the aux input and HDMI in and out. Support for bluetooth is available for streaming audio and hands-free calling and when used in combination with Android Auto, the Google Assistant can be used for operation. The iLX-F411 will be released in June for a suggested retail price of $1,200.
