Huawei to release P50 Pro and P50 Pocket smartphones in Europe
Huawei is going to release the P50 Pro and P50 Pocket in Europe. The P50 Pro has appeared on Huawei sites in various countries, while the P50 Pocket is only on the site in Bulgaria. The devices were previously released in Huawei’s home country of China.
The foldable P50 Pocket will cost 2800 leva in Bulgaria, which is currently about 1430 euros. The P50 Pro comes out at 2200 leva, about 1125 euros. The Huawei sites in various other European countries are already showing the P50 Pro, GSMArena reports.
The phones come without Google services, but according to the product pages they do run Android with Huawei’s own Emui skin over it. In China, the phones get HarmonyOS. The phones do not have 5G support; the US government has banned companies from providing 5G modems. The phones have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 soc.
The P50 Pocket is newer. Huawei announced that phone last month. The device is a folding phone with a folding screen. That is a 21:9 screen of 6.9″. There is a round screen on the outside.
