Lavalys released an update on Monday for the version 5.00 of Everest, which was released in early February. With this program a very extensive overview can be obtained of all hardware and software present in the computer. In addition, various benchmarks can be performed with it and there is extensive hardware monitoring. Everest is only available in the paid versions since version 2.50 Ultimate and corporate available and no longer in the free Home version. A license for the Ultimate Edition costs about thirty euros. In version 5.01, the following changes and improvements have been made:

  • GPGPU support for ATI Stream v1.4 API.
  • Improved IPMI event log and sensor information.
  • Improved Dell SMI sensor support.
  • Improved support for VIA Nano CPU and VIA VX800 chipsets.
  • Fixed diode temperature measurement on 65nm AMD K8 processors.
  • Fixed benchmark results on EIST (Enhanced Intel SpeedStep) capable Intel processors.
  • Fixed Sidebar Gadgets enumeration under 64-bit Windows.
