Download Wine 1.1.18

On Friday, a new development build of Wine was released, just in time. Wine is an open source implementation of the Windows API. This makes it possible to run DOS and Windows programs on Linux, FreeBSD and Mac OS X, among others. The database with applications running under Wine, with or without some minor tweaks, it contains 12,019 titles at the time of writing, which is 139 more than two weeks ago. Below are the changes and improvements made in this release:

• Joystick support on Mac OS X.
• Implementation of iphlpapi on Solaris.
• A number of 64-bit improvements.
• Obsolete LinuxThreads support has been removed.
• Many fixes to the regression tests on Windows.
