Download IETester 0.3.2

IETester makes it possible to view a website in Internet Explorer 5.5, 6, 7 and 8. As a result, the sites can be extensively tested in IE’s render and Javascript engines. The latest version of IETester has been given version number 0.3.2 alpha and is as of here for Windows XP and Windows Vista. The changelog and list of known bugs looks like this:

• DebugBar can be opened into IETester (DebugBar v5.2.1 or more needed)
• Corrected thread deadlock bug on “window.close” handling (reported here)

Known problems and limitations :

• The Previous/Next buttons are not working properly
• Focus is not working properly
• Java applets are not working
• Flash is not working on IE6 instance in user mode : A solution is to launch IETester as admin user and Flash will work.
• CSS Filters are not working correctly in user mode : A solution is to launch IETester as admin user and CSS Filters will work.
