Download Firmware Nikon Coolpix P6000 1.2

Nikon has for its Coolpix P6000 digital compact cameras released new firmware with 1.2 as the version number. These cameras have a 1/1.7″ CCD image sensor with 13.5 megapixels on board and the built-in lens has a range of 28-112mm, bringing the optical zoom to 4x. The list of changes for this update sees looks like this:

Version 1.2:

• When you take pictures in NRW (RAW) + Fine, NRW (RAW) + Normal or NRW (RAW) + Basic image quality and Distortion Control is turned on, some JPEG images may be damaged. This problem has now been resolved.
• Since distortion control cannot be used in combination with interval timer shooting, the settings have now been changed so that these functions cannot be enabled at the same time.
• Power consumption is reduced.
• When shooting in P, S, A or M mode with an image size other than 13M 4224 ×3168 and an image quality of NRW (RAW) + Fine, NRW (RAW) + Normal or NRW (RAW) + Basic, the image size will be set to 13M 4224 × 3168 when the camera is turned off and on again. This problem has now been resolved.
