FIFA 13 comes out on September 27
Electronic Arts has announced that football game FIFA 13 will be released on September 27 this year. Publisher EA is also introducing the FIFA 13 Ultimate Edition, which will only be available for pre-order or on the first day of sale.
On September 27, in addition to the standard version, the FIFA 13 Ultimate Edition will also be released. Gamers who choose this version will receive a FIFA 13 Ultimate Team ‘Gold pack’ for free every week for 24 weeks. That way they can easily put together a good team in the new version of Ultimate Team.
The normal edition itself also contains two extras, which will also be in the Ultimate Edition. First of all, gamers get 10,000 Football Club Credits. These credits can be spent in the new EA Sports Football Club catalog. Various in-game items can be purchased here, such as better scouts for Career Mode or additional matches for Head-to-Head Seasons. In addition, gamers receive the special Adidas All-Star Team, which includes the best Adidas football players in the world.
The normal edition, with the Football Club credits and the Adidas team, has a suggested retail price of 69.99 euros. The Ultimate Edition is available for five euros more, with the aforementioned bonuses and the 24 golden packs for Ultimate Team as an extra. Unlike in the United Kingdom, for example, there is no collaboration with specific retailers; all stores in the Benelux can offer both versions of FIFA 13.
