MSI launches white B150M Mortar motherboard
MSI introduces two motherboards in the B150M line, the B150M Mortar Arctic and the B150M Bazooka Plus. The new m-atx boards are part of the Arsenal series of motherboards aimed at moba gamers.
Except for the color of the pcb, the Mortar Arctic is white and the Bazooka Plus black, there are some minor differences between the micro-atx boards. These are, among other things, between the number of pci-e-x16 slots, namely two for the Arctic and one for the Bazooka. The latter has two pci-e-x1 slots, while the Arctic has one.
Furthermore, it is possible to connect four USB 2.0 ports at the front with the Bazooka and only two with Arctic, but the latter has six audio connections at the rear compared to three for the Bazooka.
The signs are otherwise very similar. Both have an Intel B150 chipset and can handle up to an Intel i7 Skylake processor, the boards have LED lighting on board and space for one SSD in an m2 slot with support for NVME. There are also six SATA-3 connections. They can both handle a maximum of 64GB of RAM, and they have a gigabit LAN connection and six USB 3.1 connections, one of which is type-c.
Prices are not yet known, but will probably be slightly above those of the MSI B150M Bazooka and Mortar.
