Motorola reveals glimpse of Moto E 2016
Lenovo has shown a glimpse of the Motorola Moto E for 2016. Little is known about the specifications of the device. In any case, the phone has a splash-proof housing and a 5″ screen with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels.
The Moto E 2015 has a 4.5″ screen, but it has been known for some time that the new version would get a larger display. Lenovo will not release any phones with a screen diagonal below 5″ this year. The Moto E isn’t the only one to get a screen magnification. The Moto G4 has a 5.5″ screen, compared to a 5″ screen of the previous generation.
Little is known about the specs. There is an unnamed quad-core processor, assisted by a working memory of 2 GB. The internal storage is unknown, but is in any case expandable via a micro SD card. The phone has an eight-megapixel rear camera of an unknown type and a five-megapixel front camera, details of which are also unknown.
The battery has a capacity of 2800mAh. The device will be released in September in the United Kingdom for 99 pounds, currently about 119 euros. Nothing is known about a possible release in the Benelux.
