Download Firmware Sony PlayStation 3 3.42

Sony has released new firmware for the PlayStation 3 with version number 3.42. The firmware is 167MB in size and can here are downloaded. The new firmware reports addressing a security issue with the system software, which means an end to the dongle jailbreak method or the open source implementation PSGroove. The new firmware does not contain any other changes.
