Version 2.36 of BS.Player was released on Friday. BS.Player is a multimedia player that can play various audio and video formats. The program is available in two different versions, namely Free and Pro. The Pro version costs thirty euros and has more possibilities than the free variant, which includes the ability to stream videos from YouTube in higher quality, record video, and a comprehensive equalizer.

BS.Player was one of the most popular media players for a long time, but that soon came to an end after the freeware version was loaded with adware. As of version 2.30, the SaveNow adware module has been replaced by a optional toolbar, which, in addition to a search function, can also control the player. New in this release is the ability to automatically retrieve subtitles from opensubtitles.org. In addition, support for Windows 7 has also been improved and some bug fixes have been made.
