Download Tag&Rename 3.5

Softpointer released the final release of Tag&Rename version 3.5 last Wednesday. With this program the music collection can be organized and managed. Furthermore, it has extensive possibilities to modify both file names and tags. Almost all known and lesser known formats are supported, including mp3, ogg, wma, mp4, flac, ape, aac and wav. In version 3.5, among other things, the performance of the program has been worked on and support for Windows Vista is now complete. Below is an overview of the main improvements compared to the previous stable release:

Main new features in version 3.5 from 3.4.6:

• Added new tags frames support: Grouping, Subtitle, Release Time, Podcast, Podcast Category, Podcast Description, Podcast ID, Podcast URL, Music/Video Kind, Show Title, Episode ID, Season Number, Episode Number
• Full Windows Vista support including program dialogs, messages, etc.
• Music files reading speed improved in many times
• New columns added to main files list: Grouping, Subtitle, Release Time, Lyricist and File Extension
• Added support of big sized cover art in wma/asf files
• Improved writing speed of wma/asf files
• Improved drag & drop support
• Added option: “Set “Album Artist” to “Various Artists” when “Part of a compilation” checked”
• Added Lyricist, Mood, Label and Remixed by variables in rename/file name to tag functions
• Groups of files/titles in Amazon “Album Information” window can be moved/dragged now
• Shell extension now work in 64 bit OS
