Motorola has released the KeyLink, a small Bluetooth device that can be paired with a smartphone. The idea is that by attaching the KeyLink to the key ring, users no longer have to search for their keys.

The KeyLink has been put on its American website by Motorola. The device can be purchased for an amount of 25 dollars, which, converted and including VAT, is 24 euros. According to the manufacturer, the KeyLink is intended for the bunch of keys. A sound can be played via a connected smartphone, so that the user knows where his keys are.

To make the device that connects via bluetooth work, it is necessary to install the Motorola Connect application. It is available for Android and iOS. It is also possible to use the KeyLink to locate the paired smartphone: by pressing the button, a ringtone is played on the device, which must be running on Android 5.0 or higher.

KeyLink is available immediately for US customers, but there is no release in Europe yet. It is also unclear whether Motorola has plans for this.
