Ubisoft recommends Far Cry 4 GeForce GTX 680 or R9 290X for optimal playback
Ubisoft has released the minimum and optimal PC system requirements for Far Cry 4. At least an Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 or AMD Radeon HD5850 is required to play the game, but the publisher recommends at least a GTX 680 or R9 290X for optimal playback.
In order to run Far Cry 4 on the PC, in addition to the aforementioned video cards, at least an Intel Core i5-750 or an AMD Phenom II X4 955, in combination with 4GB of ram or more, is required. For optimal rendering, in addition to the GeForce GTX 680 or Radeon R9 290X, a processor that offers equivalent or greater computing power than the Intel Core i5-2400S or AMD FX-8350 is required. Ubisoft also recommends using 8GB of RAM or more in the game PC.
Far Cry 4 also requires 30GB of storage memory. The game runs on the 64bit versions of Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. The latest installment in the Far Cry series will hit the European market on November 20 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
