Apparently official renders of the ASUS Zenfone 8 Flip have appeared. The device has a camera island with three cameras, which is mounted on a part of the housing that can be folded. This way, all cameras can be used on both sides.

In addition to a regular 64-megapixel camera and a camera sensor with telephoto lens, the device would have a 12-megapixel macro camera, states GSM Arena. The device would also be equipped with a 6.7 “OLED screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a Snapdragon 888-soc.

Journalist Roland Quandt posted the images on Twitter. He is known for publishing information about smartphones before they are announced. According to Quandt, the device in a version with 8GB of ram and 256GB of flash storage will be priced at 799 or 819 euros.

ASUS announces the Zenfone 8 series Wednesday evening officially. A Zenfone 8 mini is also expected, with a 5.9 “OLED screen that has a refresh rate of 120Hz. That device also has a Snapdragon 888-soc. The presentation starts at 19:00 and can be followed on YouTube. Last year’s Zenfone 7 and 7 Pro also had a camera island that can flip.
