Samsung shows on its site an 8k television in its Qled series that has almost no visible screen edges. Samsung seems to be demonstrating the TV during the upcoming CES 2020 fair.

The images were spotted by the German 4kfilme and are on the American CES2020 site of Samsung. The company shows a render of an 8k TV in the Qled series, standing on a stand, with the text ‘Experience the power of a future beyond all boundaries’. In addition, a render for the Soundbar Q800T seems to show the TV, but this time hanging on the wall.

The images emerged shortly after rumors of the arrival of what’s been called a “zero bezel TV.” According to the Korean The Elec, it concerns a series of TVs with a screen diagonal of 65 inches and larger and the company wants to start production in February. The company could virtually eliminate screen edges, according to the site, by “welding the display panel and housing closer together.” Critics within the company have expressed concern that the panel and body could come loose.

Samsung is also rumored to want to introduce a microLED TV during CES 2020.
