Vodafone has another malfunction on mobile network – update

Vodafone has for the third time this month to deal with a malfunction on its mobile network. The provider reports that customers may experience problems with mobile data, making and receiving calls. The cause is unknown.

Vodafone reported the outage around 14:00, while all outages show that customers had already been dealing with problems on the mobile network about half an hour before. The carrier says customers may experience problems with mobile data and calling, but does not provide details about the cause. Vodafone says it will post updates if there is more news.

It is the third time this month that Vodafone has to deal with a malfunction on its mobile network. Also on October 12 and 14, there were nationwide problems with mobile data and calling for hours. Those two outages were not related, the provider said at the time.

Update, 16:13: Vodafone reports that the malfunction has been resolved. Customers who still have problems are advised to restart their phone. The provider does not provide details about the cause of the failure.
