Toshiba presents new laptop models for business use

Toshiba adds three new models to the Satellite Pro line, as well as two Portégé laptops and a Tecra model. There will also be an improved Z version of four laptops from the last two lines, which are more powerful and have better battery life.

Toshiba is not yet releasing a few specifications, but the laptops will probably be available in many different configurations. The Satellite Pro range includes the new A30-C, A40-C and R40-C. The cheapest R40-C model costs 455 euros and is equipped with a 14 “screen. This is followed by the A30-C and A40-C with a 13″ screen for 749 euros and a 14” screen for 845 euros respectively. models are equipped with a non-reflective screen and an Intel processor of the Skylake generation.

The Portégé and Tecra line consists of the Portégé A30-C with 13″ screen and the Tecra A40-C and A50-C with 14″ and 15.6″ screen respectively. All versions have a battery life of 8 hours and the lightest A30-C model weighs 1.5kg Prices range from 845 Euros for the A50-C to 1050 Euros for the A30-C and 1196 Euros for the A40-C The devices include hardware security such as a RPM 2.0, also have a matte screen and must survive a fall from a maximum height of 76cm.

According to Toshiba, the Z series consists of the most powerful models and this line also uses Intel Skylake processors, with the manufacturer letting users choose from four different screen sizes. The Portégé Z20t-C has a 12.5″ screen and has a battery that would last up to 19 hours, although it is not known how this was measured. This version is also equipped with a USB 3.1 type-c port. Portégé Z30-C and Tecra Z40-C also have a fairly long battery life, up to 16 hours and 15 hours respectively. Screen sizes range from 13.3″ to 14″. The largest version in the range is the Tecra Z50-C with a 15.6″ screen. This costs 1196 euros, compared to 1693 euros for the Z20t-C and 1245 euros for the Z30-C.
