Realme officially announces GT2 Pro as the brand’s first flagship device
Realme CEO Sky Li has revealed the name of its first flagship phone, the GT2 Pro. The name and almost all specifications had already been leaked earlier. Simultaneously with the announcement, images of the device have appeared again.
The Realme GT2 Pro is said to feature Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 soc. The device will run on Realme UI 3.0, the Android 12 skin of the brand. The GT2 Pro will also be equipped with a 120Hz AMOLED screen of 6.8 “. The device would also have 12GB Lpddr5 memory and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone must also be equipped with a selfie camera with 32-megapixel resolution and a primary. 50-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization.
Renders from OnLeaks show that the device resembles a Google Nexus 6P and is equipped with two more cameras, including one with a wide-angle lens. The device would also be equipped with 125W fast charging. The device should be released worldwide in the first quarter of 2022 for about 555 euros. By the way, none of these details have been confirmed by Realme to date, except now for the name via CEO Sky Li on Twitter. The GT2 Pro also shares its name with a smartwatch from Huawei. The Huawei GT2 Pro came out in September 2020.
