Skype has released version 5.8 of its voip client for Windows. With Skype it is possible to communicate with other Skype users by means of text, speech or image, or a combination thereof, via an internet connection. It is also possible to set up a video conference call with a maximum of ten people, but there is a Premium Subscription required. Furthermore, the Facebook News Feed is integrated into the program and there is Skype Home, a place where you can indicate your mood, change your profile and find new contacts. In version 5.8, among other things, higher quality video can be used during conversations and the screen can be shared with several people at the same time.

• Options – Proxy settings in client were not disabled when proxy was set using registry keys
