Download Mozilla Thunderbird 10.0

The Mozilla Foundation has released Thunderbird version 10.0. Mozilla Thunderbird is an open source client for mail and newsgroups, with features such as support for different mail and news accounts, a junk mail filter, spell checker and a customizable appearance. Version 10 is based on the latest version of Mozilla Gecko, which should lead to better performance, among other things. We also see improvements in personas and attachments and of course a lot of bug fixes have been made. The release notes for this release can be found below.

The latest version of Thunderbird has the following changes:

• New ability to search the Web
• Improvements to email search
• Several fixes when drafting email
• and several other platform fixes

Known Issues

• If you are unable to view content for your RSS feeds in the Wide View Layout, you may need to disable the Lightning Calendar add-on if you have it installed or switch to Classic View and restart Thunderbird. (bug 531397)
