Download DVDFab 8.1.5.6

Version 8.1.5.6 of DVDFab has been released. DVDFab consists of several parts that can be used to rip, copy and convert movies from DVD or Blu-ray to a format that can be played on a portable device such as the PSP or iPod, for example. The program can make a complete copy, but it is also possible to choose individual parts, for example only the main movie with a limited number of languages ​​and subtitles.

The different parts of the program each have a own license. Those who do not need the Blu-ray functionality or who do not own a portable player do not have to pay for this functionality. Only the part to rip a disc, which can remove protection and region code at the same time, is still free. New in this release is the ability to convert a movie file so that it can be played in a DVD or Blu-ray player in the living room and support for the Sony PS Vita has been added.

DVD Copy:

• Fix: A problem that PathPlayer may remove playable content in certain cases.

Blu-ray Copy:

• New: Added support for new BD+ generation 12 as found on “Contagion”.
• New: Improved “Slow Speed ​​/ High Quality” option to create ultra high quality backp, please note it will be very slow.

Blu Ray Ripper:

• Fix: A/V sync problem of Blu-ray Ripper (profiles: m2ts.audiocopy.high_quality / xbox wma10).

2D to 3D Converter:

• New: Changed default Gain to 5.
