Download Skype for Windows 5.7 build 137 beta
Skype has released a new beta release of version 5.7 of its voip client for Windows. With Skype it is possible to communicate with other Skype users by means of text, speech or image, or a combination thereof, via an internet connection.
Since version 5.0 it is possible to set up a video conference call with a maximum of ten people, but there is a Premium Subscription required. Furthermore, the Facebook News Feed is integrated into the program and there is Skype Home, a place where you can indicate your mood, change your profile and find new contacts. New in version 5.7 is, among other things, the possibility to share the screen with several contacts at the same time. Furthermore, it is now also possible to have video calls with Facebook users and there is a push-to-talk function. The full changelog can be found below. Some bug fixes have been made in this update.
